City Hall
The City Hall structure crumbled during the first 60 seconds of the 1906 earthquake. After being rebuilt, it was damaged again in the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake. Seismic upgrades and repairs began on March 6, 1995. The Dome is now all coperry and gold. But, I liked the old one better :0) The S.F. City Hall dome is higher than its counterpart at the U.S. Capitol in Washington.
